About this Song: (lyrics below)
This is the 2nd version I recorded of “Beautiful Person”.
The first one is from Visions & Voices CD.
This version includes some slight shifts in language inspired by the field of Neuro Linguistics.
Most notably is the shift into past tense. So, “I can not love you if I hate myself” became, “I could not love you when I hated myself”. The past tense pre-supposes that I no longer hate myself… see how it works? Even the subtlest of language patterns can free us from our old patterns and stories or keep us stuck.
This is another one of those “Transformation Tunes” to listen to repeatedly for its potential to get “stuck” in your head… and do some good in there… :o)
BTW I actually did have a dream where there was a lion coming up out of the bathtub drain! It scared me awake from a deep slumber. As I lay there in the dark it occurred to me that the lion represented my own true power. And that it was time to stop running away from it.
May you too find your true power and experience how incredibly beautiful you are. Right now. Right here. Today and Every day from now on!

Beautiful Person (version 2)
Song #161 | Jan-March 1991, revised 2002 | CD: Thirsty For The Sky (also Visions & Voices for version 1)
Refrain:
I am a beautiful person
I am a part of All That Is
I accept the abundance of Creation
And the Infinite gifts it gives
I could not love you when I hated myself
I could not give to you when I was poor
I could not heal the world when I had no health
I could not bring you peace by bringing you war
Refrain:
I am the lion that I saw in my dream
I unleash the hidden power in me
I am the universe just beyond my eyes
That I am only beginning to see
Refrain:
I am a joyful emotion too huge to be contained in me
I am the universe just beyond my eyes that I am only beginning to see
I spark across the mountains and the oceans
To the edges of the galaxy
Refrain:
