Yesterday I shared my “raw acoustic demo” version of this song.
Today I want to share what Joe Mennonna did with my “bare bones arrangement”
He added keyboards, saxes, drums, bass and god knows what else… Rilee then came in and sang the vocals…
Some people like the bigger arrangements, others like the more sparse edginess of the acoustic version. For me, what is really cool is that the song is still the song.
It is truly an honor for me to hear someone else sing my stuff much less to have a genius like Joe Mennonna “flesh” it out with all the other sounds that are possible.
Enjoy!

Move, Move, Move!
Sung by Rilee O’Neil, Arrangment by Joe Mennonna
Song #372 | 10/5-12/2007 | CD: Letters To Daddy
Get out of my way
I gotta dance today
I gotta move
I gotta find my groove
Hey, you look a little tight
What’s going on with you?
it doesn’t have to be a fight
just let it loose and…
Refrain:
Move, move, move
Shake it out and
Move, move, move
Clap your hands and
Move, move, move
You gotta dance
(repeat)
Move, move, move
Move, move, move
Instrumental
Get out of your chair
If you dare
Take a sip of fresh air
Release your cares
Have you heard the news?
You got nothing to lose
Blast through the blues
Go ahead and choose…to
Refrain:
Instrumental
Come on & give yourself a break
Cuz there are no mistakes
Sometimes you gotta trust
That you’re good enough
Go ahead and make your move
Make it stiff or smooth
Give yourself some room
Feel free to roam
Refrain:
