I wrote this song when I lived in a beautiful brownstone overlooking Wooster Square Park in New Haven, CT. Thanks to the modern era of photo sharing, I was able to find this picture on Flickr by Matt Otto, which is quite literally the view from my window. The Church in the upper right hand corner is the one that got me going with this simple little love song… As for “who” this song is about? Well that will have to stay veiled in the mists of time… :o)

Thinking of You
Song #387 | 11/11/08 | CD: Ocean of Dreams
Church bells ringing across Wooster square
I open up the window to get some air
And I’m thinking of you…yes I’m thinking of you
Leaves are falling from the trees
Each one of them could be an old belief (and a new release)
And I’m thinking of you
Let’s let go of who we used to be
Let the rivers flow into the sea
I’m thinking of you, yes I’m thinking of you
I feel your heart across space and time
It fills me up and it feels sublime (like a sip of fine wine)
I’m thinking of you…
Feel my thoughts
Heal your thoughts
Feel my thoughts
Touch you
Touch you
