Today’s song is a world premiere. Only 2 other people have heard this so far.
The truth is I have no idea what this song is actually about… it just feels fabulous to sing… It somehow induces a very present moment awareness, a trance-like dream state, a Fellini-esque collage of images and feelings that pull up memories and connections we may have as well as the realization that “this too shall pass”. Endings are beginnings. Beginnings are endings. It’s all good. We ARE alive after all.
Sing along with me on the “last laugh” parts. The simplicity and repetition are inspired by all the devotional chants we do at Unity on Sunday evenings.
As you listen and sing along notice what happens in your body… and let me know what YOU think it’s about.
