This is a drum based chant piece that has always been one of my most popular songs with groups that like to sing. It’s spiritual but not religious in that whatever it is that is responsible for the Universe being here is pretty damn awesome, awe inspiring and essentially is what we are all made of…
It’s not about any particular “religion” but seems to work with most faiths…
This live performance was a little rough around the edges because we had not had time to rehearse it at all before the show. But I LIKE that. It shows we are all co-creating and paying attention to each other. What didn’t get picked up so clearly was the audience singing along at the top of their lungs… they were DEEP into this song… which means a lot.
