The Music Can No Longer Be Separate From The Video

January 9, 2021 · Best Indie Music Videos

Welcome to my new series, “The Best Indie Music Videos”

I’m finding more and more that I can only listen to music that has video. I prefer when musicians are playing live. I want to see them actually playing and singing. Not lip synching.

I think the old “MTV style” music video made by high end film-makers that aren’t PERFORMANCE based  are just dead. At least dead to me.

But this one…  THIS one is something else entirely. The male/female duo Rowann demonstrates where the songwriters/musical artists are the film makers and the video is not something separate or after the fact. The video and the song are one thing.  I was blown away by what they did with this video. Enjoy.
