About This Song: (Lyrics Below)
This is a song all about that longing that so many of us have for the “one”.
You know “the ONE” right? That mythical “one true love” portrayed by Disney movies and most of the Romantic Comedies from Hollywood. That True Lover who will somehow make everything better, who you can “live happily ever after” with.
And so we yearn and long and attempt to get our emotional and romantic and sexual and social needs met with this one other person who pretty much fails us, and our expectations as much as we “fail” them.
After years and years and years of doing a lot of deep work around this in my own life and coaching clients in my hypnosis practice in the process of healing ourselves… Ultimately I’ve come to believe that the “One” is US!
When we learn to cherish and appreciate ourselves we can nurture and love and support ourselves and be our own best “parents” and “lovers”…
Your Transformation Tune Assignement for today is to listen to this song AS IF, You are singing it to YOURSELF. And YOU are that amazingly , loving, supportive, romantic, sexy, adoring person that you most long for…
Thoughts? Let me know what you think. – Mark
Goodnight To Someone
Song # 467 | 3/13/13 | CD: Purest Form of Trance
Refrain:
I would like to say goodnight to someone
at the end of a well lived day.
I would like to say good night to someone
at the end of a well lived day.
And who can tell me where the wind blows from
and who can tell me where it goes?
And who can help to tell the secrets
that the heart already knows?
Refrain:
And who shall be the one to wake with
At the breaking of the dawn?
And who shall be the one to stay with
When the day is done and gone?
Refrain:
And who is there to share the sunlight
And the shining of the stars
And who shall be the one to breathe with
In the passing of the years…
Refrain:
And who shall share the glance of blue skies
Or the kiss of sweet Spring rain
And who shall know the love behind my eyes
And all that is and shall remain…
