408 It’s Another Opportunity To Grow

17777837_sThis is another song from the musical “Beautyfull”. This is really a rough draft, about half the verses need to be let go! We ended up only using one verse in the play… It became a song that the main character sings softly to herself when everything is looking grim and like it’s not going to have a happy ending…

And this is also one of the “annoying” truths about changing our thinking… sometimes it’s just so much more fun to whine and complain!

Ultimately though whenever I dare to RE-INTERPRET the things that seem “bad” as “a new possibility that I hadn’t considered” lol, my world changes for the better.

As a gardener, it is clear that being too attached to outcomes (Like harvests) can be really frustrating… There is always some good to be found…

It’s Another Opportunity To Grow

Song #408 | 1/5/2010

It’s another opportunity to grow
It’s another opportunity to grow
It’s another chance to dance
It’s like water for your plants
It’s another opportunity to grow

It’s another opportunity to learn
It’s another opportunity to Learn
Everywhere you look
It’s like your life’s a book
It’s another opportunity to learn

It’s another opportunity to shine
It’s another opportunity to shine
I don’t mean to be terse
But if your day gets worse
It’s another opportunity to shine

It’s another opportunity to chill
It’s another opportunity to chill
If you’ve had your fill
And you’re bracing for the bill
It’s another opportunity to chill

It’s another opportunity to grow
It’s another opportunity to grow
No matter where you go
It only goes to show
It’s another opportunity to grow

It’s another opportunity to play
It’s another opportunity to play
It’s another opportunity
To build a strong community
It’s another opportunity to play

It’s another opportunity to see
It’s another opportunity to see
Investigate reality
Allow the truth to set you free
It’s another opportunity to see

It’s another opportunity to Love
It’s another opportunity to Love
Nothing beats the “push and shove”
Like a message from above
It’s another opportunity to Love

It’s another opportunity to be
It’s another opportunity to be
Who you said you wanted
To be when it counted
It’s another opportunity to be

It’s another opportunity to grow
It’s another opportunity to grow
It’s an opportunity
To set your thinking free
It’s another opportunity to grow

It’s another opportunity to heal
It’s another opportunity to heal
To build up your immunity
Get out of the infirmary
It’s another opportunity to heal

It’s another opportunity to grow
It’s another opportunity to grow
It’s another chance to dance
It’s like water for your plants
It’s another opportunity to grow
