This is the full arrangement of Honest Rock that truly showcases the sheer GENIUS of my long time musical collaborators Joe Mennonna and Gene Moore.
Joe Mennonna did the arrangement and played, oh maybe 2 DOZEN instruments, (organs, piano, actual real horns, bass, drums, you name it) as well as the male “Gospel Choir” vocals.
Gene Moore added some wicked good electric guitar support and a tasty solo that just stuns me every time I listen.
And one of my newest musical collaborators, Joy Adler added her amazing vocal talents and amazing phrasing to give the song the needed feminine energy to balance my Male energy (or something like that LOL).
Also in need of mention is Joe’s wife, Lucy Mennonna who also joined us for the the “Gospel Choir”.
This song is designed to get stuck in your head so that you actually end up being filled with gratitude throughout your day for simply the miracle of being here. Think about it. THIS. Our very existence. BEING HERE. Today. Alive. Aware. Breathing. Is a miracle!
