For me, the 1980’s were all about starting a family, exploring my spiritual beliefs, dealing with death of loved ones and close friends, and questioning my purpose. After my son Andrew was born in 1985, (followed by Tia and Myles in 1987 and 1991) I started writing children’s songs which would definitely make a huge difference in how I earned a living… You will find quite a few political songs, protest songs, peace songs, love songs etc. Some of these are little gems that I kind of forgot that I wrote… Others I kind of want to forget! LOL…
